Help my ex wont give my son his meds on the weekends or vacation time he has him. so my son goes days without it and comes home more upset and violent with his sisters and me. At what age did you tell your child they have ASD?? Anyone w older children not tell them??

My 7 year old daughter has been crying and screaming when we tell her that she can’t do something. She has to ask us before she can just get and use things. She gets so upset when we tell her “no” that she starts screaming and crying. So we ignore this behavior? I try to comfort her, but if this is about not getting what she wants instead of not being able to do something developmentally, then I think I need to ignore it. Right?
