My daughter has several cavities. She has gotten fillings before. The dentist said that she needs to brush and floss. They also said that milk has sugar in it and she needs to drink more water instead of milk. I feel guilty because I forget to remind her to brush her teeth and we don’t keep up with flossing at all.

I've been having many issues teaching my children good hygiene skills and have trouble with regular visits to dentists and doctors when it's about the general health. Does anyone else have a hard time with bathing regularly, using the restroom more often (especially girls during that time), public restroom use, brushing hair etc?
I'll be trying that, days of the week that are a must and an actual check list. I really hope it works well.
Hygiene helper is ok too
I mostly believe this is the result of my son not ever responding well to requests. Typically when I make requests of him it usually becomes a battle however hygiene activities seem to typically send him in a downward spiral to extreme meltdowns. As his parent, I feel I need him to understand the importance of proper hygiene and he absolutely has to clean himself, however the result is never worth it. I really feel lost and discouraged. Help!
