I'm in Iowa and just got approved for the mental health waiver. Anyone else get services as well like this?
My husband's employer recently switched mental health providers to Beacon. We had never had beacon before. It is giving us lots of problems and not paying our providers. Any advice on how to get things resolved? Please tell me about your experiences with beacon mental health.
The real problem is that blue Cross and beacon don't talk to each other. We have already met deductible and maximum out of pocket but blue Cross never told beacon. I am trying to get it resolved

Our son has in school services. But it was recommended that he has in home services. We know that there is cost to the in home services & insurance usually does not cover. Would SSDI be the right avenue to go & do we need an attorney to get that? We are still in the process of getting him into counseling through the county mental health department. But we really do not know how to proceed with this. Thanks for any suggestions.

My son had dental work done previously through surgery & anesthesia because despite our efforts he was not going to cooperate. Ask the dentist to flavor the glue and tell your child he has to guess the flavor. That worked for us. But it will have to be the same flavor forevermore if it works. Good luck. You are in my prayers!
I take the three monthly version of resperidone and have been told shaking due to it by mental health expert
I have been offered to go back to monthly version and wondering if this better choice but stabs every monthly instead of three monthly I don't like
