I will be flying from California to Kentucky in June (one way trip) and I was just curious some peoples experience with flying with an autistic child. My daughter is 7 and she is not only HFA but this will be her first time flying as well.

We are staying home as much as possible for a variety of reasons, but want to help our young child tolerate wearing a mask or face covering. Anyone have success here or tips? My mom made a face mask of his favorite cartoon but he wanted to carry it around like a purse.

My daughter is high functioning on the spectrum. She is 9yrs old. Her father recently moved to Georgia, I live in PA. My son who is in first grade has had a rough couple of months, and these past two weeks it has gotten worse since being put on new medication. We are having a safety plan meeting this week and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on what to put into place and such. He’s been getting very aggressive and running away (out the building).
