PDD/NOS
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Well since inception to the my austism team, I had informed you all that my son was diagnosed with PDD/NOS but a couple of months ago I had taken him to a neurologist to be seen and he had a MRI and EEG done and it reflected no mental issues but having absent seizures. Should I still take him to a psychiatrist and or therapist?

I Am Looking For A New Physician And Therapist For My Children.
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

My last Dr was wonderful, but accepted an offer out of the state. I also am looking for speech and behavioral therapist who is supportive of parents who home school. I am having a hard time finding a supportive team for my daughter. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can A Parent Ask For Specific Assesments Be Administered On A Reevaluation For Services?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

My ASD daughter is going into Kindergarten and she had to be re-evaluated for an updated IEP for school and I asked for the WIAT and WISC test be administered as part of the re-evaluation to show the deficit but the evaluator did not do those tests. Do I have the right to have them done as part of the re-evaluation?
