Group Home Experiences?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Please, if there is any other parents who have gone in the direction of group home and have made some headway with it, let me know. I'm struggling so bad. My son has been away for maybe 6 months now. I don't even know. I need other points of reference to get perspective.

Thank you.

We have her home on the weekends and extra days on holidays, other than that she lives at a home minutes away from the school. The homes are run by the school

It means their problems aren't very severe. They can usually grow up to take care of themselves and marry etc. They may have quirks.. like social issues or quiet or smart etc.

Best Middle And High Schools In Los Angeles (South Bay)
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

We are considering a move to the LA area and are looking specifically at living in South Bay -- Palos Verdes or Torrance. Does anyone have experience with the PV School District with an Aspie teen? How were the middle or high schools? What about schools in Torrance? If public schools didn't work, which private schools in the West LA or South Bay areas would you recommend for grades 7 and up. Thanks!

Did you find good school in south bay or in Torrance?
Because I'm looking for good middle school and high school for my kid.

We have had a android tablet die very quickly with a small crack. However our ipads seem to last and work even if cracked. We are smarter about the cases now, so not all of the ipads are broken
