My child is currently on probation for verbal assault. He had the police called on him sat when one of his bullies said brad pushed him off his bike (brad has not been physical since being medicated) so he might get prob. violated for that... have heard of other parents of teens having them declared mentally incompetent to protect them. Not declared, however the American's with Disabilities Act may be helpful. May be time to educate others on how vulnerable and easily targeted our families are. He should have the same rights to ride his bike and not have to worry about being bullied. HUGE issue all over right now. Send a thing in to your local paper and news channels. Sometimes embarassment of family/community can get some things changed drastically. Not that it is a moral thing to do, but sometimes there just isn't many choices.

I may walk him up to the police station and have him shake hands with the local police and have them get to know him, see that he can be good.
