My son has been seeing a DAN doctor that I work for since last August after talking and seeing similarities with my 2 year old. I live in Iowa and he is currently working with AEA but they are re-assessing to see if he still qualifies. AEA has an autism team and she feels that he is a normal 2 year old
You are not insane. I would look into all available early interventions programs for ASD. Is there a pre school available within your school district? Where do you live?? My son is 8, also adopted, and was diagnosed at 6 with ASD.
