ALCAR has been one of the best supplements we have tried. My DD did test as carnitine deficient before we started, however. DD was getting weekly PT at the time and there was a huge difference between the session immediately before and the following one. She was able to graduate from PT within 2 months of starting ALCAR. She also had a big gain in speech after starting it.

Once we got our sons thyroid sorted out, we looked into cortisol, and that too. As low. We're giving him adrenal support and his energy is so much better. We t Reid both forms of carnitine, seemed helpful, but we always felt something was missing until we went the adrenal route.
