What Schools In Southeast Michigan Are The Best For High Functioning Children?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm new to this website and I'm looking for school recommendations in Southeast Michigan. My son is currently in an ECDD program through the Eastpointe district. His teachers and I feel he will be mainstreamed once he reaches Kindergarten. In the meantime I wanted to find out what the best schools were for children that are high functioning.

we live in the la'nce cruise school district ( harrison twp area) and they are great with children with any disabilitys also macomb country is the best around here for helping you out they have the MISD that will be more then willing to help you out or ask any questions you may have. my son goes to South river Ele. and they are wonderful with all types of disabilitys they make all the children fell wanted and needed and they do not allow the kids to single anyone out they teach them to play and be friends with them and encourage the children to make new friends. when they say no bulling this is the first school i seen stick to it they are a great school district.
