We are in Wayne NJ. It is expensive here, we stay because of the schools. Some of Wayne floods so be careful if you do come here. We are ok in our section. School has been good up till now, but next year it will be interesting because they HS doesn't have a program for lower functioning non verbal children. But I am told the district will either have to make that program happen or else he will be placed in a private school. Right now he is in a classroom and has ABA. He loves the school and the children there are all great to him. They have a group of typical kids who volunteer to help our class and the other special needs class. My son loves these kids. His teacher was hired by Wayne from a Private school. It is not perfect but I believe NJ has good services. I have a friend who lives in Kinnelon and she is very happy there.

Grew up in NJ and have friends there with kids on the spectrum. The resources are wonderful but in general it is a very expensive state to live in.

Are you looking to live in North or South Jersey?

Eden is very good in NJ but I do not know how expensive the areas around it are to live which is always a consideration
