When teachers are not trained to work with asd kids, they do get frustrated. The least professional of them are rude. Consult an attorney. It is definitely against the law and is damaging for your child.

Make sure you bring a support team-members of your CMH case management team, outside therapists, staff members and sometimes family and community people ( doctors) can be a boon! If all else fails, GET A LAWYER!

depends on whether their rudeness is getting in the way of my son receiving FAPE or not. Also if their rudeness is preventing me from having meaningful participation in the IEP process. In both of those cases, they are violating the law so you do have rights to resolve it if you go about it in the right way. Read "From emotions to Advocacy".
