Services are provided by the schools but they are not very good. They do have ASD classes in some districts but not all , but sometimes the teachers are special Ed trained but not the best for ASD children.

As far as services in Florida we ended up paying out of pocket for most of them because the state offers very little. On top of that if you get SSI the rate in Florida is probably going to be less than what you have now because there is no state tax.

We left Florida because of those reasons and that the medical care is also horrible as well. Had to travel two hours for a good Dr. From Sarasota you would have to got to ST Petersburg children's for anything good
