I would go for it - we may get our doctor to prescribe it for our son. There are about a dozen studies on it with very good safety profile in the short-term (all showing benefit except a recent one). Hopefully, it is a cross-over study, so you are guaranteed to try it for some period of time.

Yes, we have been using Oxytocin and it seems to be helpful. DD's teacher (who didn't know she had started the Oxytocin) commented that DD's pretend play became a lot more complex and socially interactive. Before her play was fairly "scripted" and she pretty much ignored if someone else tried to build on the scenario. Now DD is starting to play along with her teacher/therapist/big sister/other play partner.
