can anyone recommend a non/delayed vax friendly pediatrician in the schaumburg area??? I'm having the hardest time finding one!!!!

Its not for school since he is only 2.5 (almost). I juat dont want more injections in him but still want him to get checked out and cared for when sick :-(

Thanks Jill. I'll check him out. I want someone covered by our bcbcs ppo so labs and other tests are covered. Ugh! Why must everything make our wallets bleed so much!

I wish it were that easy for us Casey! I'm tired of getting my hopes up and going on endless consultations and not finding a single dr who doesnt shut down the discussion on the topic of vaccines. They're gubg-ho on following the cdc schedule and will "allow" me to delay a month or two but no more than that.

I dont know one but if you want to use a delayed schedule print the schedule you plan on using and give a copy to the doctor. If he objects tell him too bad so sad. Well you can say it nicer if you want. And move on to the next doctor. Every time I've told a doctor about my feelings on vaccines they tell me they agree with me and have no problem waiting or not giving them at all.
