Yes. Some kids with ASD have significant sleep issues likely tied to circadian rthyms. Many of the meds used in sundown syndrome are the same ones being tried for autism. As a supplement, melatonin is the safest that has shown efficacy for sleep disorder in ASD. We don't have the same issues but we do often use melatonin as it is a great antioxidant.
