The walkie talkie has a tone when the other recieves so that we have something to listen for.

He is non verbal, a walkie talkie wouldn't help i think in this case.

That's what we have Project Lifesaver. We also make him carry a walkie talky so that if he gets out of sight we can find him pretty quick .

they have sneakers with built-in GPS, necklaces, bracelets, getting a cell phone with a parent monitor is also available.

We have one for our son through the local Police Dept .It's free of charge and they have a magnificent response time . You might check with your local Police Dept .
