My grandaughter is now an adult, highly suspect aspergers. She has had symptoms all along, my question today has to do with spiritual understandings. She has never been able to grasp these understandings. I pray for her constantly, but I am reaching out to see if there is an approach or something that might help her to learn to understand such things? Maybe she feels you are too forceful? In my experience it is best to respect people's personal opinions on spirituality as it is so personal and different for each person.

She sounds like she's trying to find her own path - maybe instead of trying to get her to listen to you and your ways, you could listen to her, ask her unbiased questions, love her for who she is, come from a place of understanding and she might respond far better!

I really hope it all works out for you both. Maybe a day trip somewhere she loves could help her relax and open up..
