What is your experience with Nutrient therapy? We are planning to take nutrient therapy for our son with Dr. Mensah. How long it takes to see initial results and what is the overall experience?
We just received our protocol from compounding pharmacy. Our start is with B12 shots. 2 shots done thus far. Positive results: increased speech (we see more 2 words combinations) and that's only after 2 shots. Second part of protocol will be started in a week: that's basically nutrient shake of multiple vitamins: A,C, Bx, TMG, Zinc, etc.
Yes, I was searching for the treatments and stumbled here on Mensah. @A MyAutismTeam Member is giving good guidance to me and so many others.
@A MyAutismTeam Member, I live in Georgia. By the time I discovered Mensah Med. (7 days ago), I missed the one in Florida. I could go to the outreach clinic in Maryland, (3/2) where I have friends I could stay with, but I didn't want to wait that long and was able to get an appointment sooner in Chicago. I also have someone to stay with in Chi, but discovered they live an hour south of the clinic. I'm opting for a hotel instead. I hate driving!
I'm using airline points for me and my son as well as points for our hotel and rental car. Hubby travels extensively and transferred his points.
Yes, I've only learned about Mensah Medicals for a week, but I've been searching for an MD for almost a year. I knew what my criteria was and this group fit the bill. Is it a big endeavor? Absolutely. But I'm not going to hand my child over to just anyone. I could choose someone local from the Walsh Institute whom I've never heard before, but I did that with a naturopath. She was great, but we needed more. I also wanted testimonials/recommendations by parents who are also knowledgable and thorough; i.e. @A MyAutismTeam Member @A MyAutismTeam Member and @A MyAutismTeam Member, to name a few. I'm a little nervous, but mostly anxious to get his results.
@A MyAutismTeam Member: Saw endocrinologist and consulted with Mensah. I will be giving him "Armour" for his hypothyroidism.
Shots: doing it while he is sleeping. <- best time. It takes only a sec to do it.
@A MyAutismTeam Member: Picolinate
Booked flights and hotel to Chicago! Excited. Nervous. Anxious.
