Hey MAT family, I'm back to blogging for Detroit Moms Blog. I need your help. When your child was first diagnosed, what terms or specific language did you struggle to understand? What words or phrases made you feel as if the therapist or doctor were speaking another language? Trying to make an unofficial glossary for parents of newly diagnosed kids. Thanks!

Hypotonia (Low Tone), Vistibular, Sensory processing disorder, ‎Joint hypermobility, proprioceptive, sensory seeking behaviors, sensory input, joint attention, just some to start, ill add more if i think of them :)
