Since i lived here in TX, his speech therapy is at home and over time he hits and kicks the therapist, Medicaid would only cover 1 hour a week of ABA, he struggles with great behavioral issues as well as i have been trying to get him on gluten free food since it has affected his health. You might want to check into Head Start. They start at 2 year olds. I am not sure what all they provide, but we have Medicaid, WIC, SSI and many other programs. Check @A MyAutismTeam Member Speaks, @A MyAutismTeam Member Seals, the county health department where you are moving to. Best of luck on your move. (Plan on some adjustment time for your child) Different environments cause problems.

When we know where you are going to live, we can look up resources for him.
With the Medicaid application, fill it out online, and they can do phone interviews to a certain point. You will need a legal copy of each child's and your birth certificates. You will need your current drivers license and copies of their social security numbers and yours.
You can start these applications, and once you have an address to give them, then it is time to rock and roll.
Apply for food stamps, wic, and government housing. The worse they can do is tell you no. If you are going to be in the Fort Bragg area, there should be plenty of resources. I would apply for Head start and see if you can get him in there, and maybe they can recommend services and possibly start the testing right away.
Let me know if I can help.
Prayers, hugs, strong shoulders, smiles, blessings and love.

Thank, i wish Texas had those resources like that, in his special ed class it is just the basics they get, my daugthers dad lives in NC, but also NC has a little better help than Medicaid from what i looked over.
