Anyone Have Any Experience With Risperidone?

My 7 year old ASD son has recently been prescribed Risperidone for treatment of irritability associated with autistic disorder, including symptoms of aggression towards others, deliberate self-injuriousness, temper tantrums, and quickly changing moods. Does anyone have any experience with this drug?

My son w as s on risperidone/respiradal for many years, and he had really good results. His aggression lowered, and he was once again helpful and loving.

My son is 13 and has been on Risperdal for two years we've been on many different doses and never really did help he just got a few side effects from it so didn't work very well
