Danger To Siblings Of Vaccines?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have twin 26 year old sons with autism and am about to vaccinate my 16 year old daughter for the first time because it is required for her summer job. She has a seizure disorder that she takes Lamotrigine for but she is not autistic. My mother may have also taken DES to prevent miscarriages which I've read some believe is connected to autism in the offspring of their daughters
I am very nervous about vaccinating my daughter in case for some reason her immune system is compromised and… read more

@A MyAutismTeam Member, I used the word "bogus" correctly in referring to the fake data of Dr. Wakefield. I wasn't referring to any poster as bogus. Science is supposed to be about truth and when it is not it's not legit.

My daughter has duplicated gene. No amount of dietary changes will change that fact. Is the gene the sole issue? I don't know because no one knows. I don't about the leaky gut issue as my daughter doesn't have that problem but I know a lot of posters raise that issue.

Sorry about being terse but a record breaking period of unemployment for me this month and being diagnosed as a diabetic yesterday has not put me in a happy place.

@A MyAutismTeam Member First let me say we are all friends and family here at MAT so “Hi Friend” & “I love you!” but let’s respect each other ahead of time and not include the “bogus” terms. I’m saying this because I’ve been in the ASD life for a little bit...I read Wakefield’s papers before they got the negative label years ago. I’m fighting for my children’s recovery tirelessly everyday and his original work (un-redacted) was “cure the gut”! Let’s think about it out loud, (put aside therapy) most of the believable and trustworthy positive stories of success are mostly related to diet changes (gut), pre/probiotics (gut) and fecal implants (gut-intestines). I’m not saying he was perfect but “bogus” science is maybe what people who can profit in the future want us to think he believed in. And remember...I love you! Let’s play nice!
PS, my edit was because I forgot a “is”

Well my 2 kids didn't contract any diseases which they were vaccinated for. The first vaccination was done in 1797 so we do know about more about them than autism which only got that label in 1943. First patient is still alive.

Vaccinations don't cause measles but there's a growing number of victims among kids born since 1998 that passed on vaccinations due to Dr. Wakefield's bogus research. If smallpox comes back, you'll get to see stuff we could only find in history books.

None of my five have ever had an obvious issue with vaccines.

@A MyAutismTeam Member my heart goes out to you for the personal bad stretch your having right now. I believe we as parents/ caregivers FIRST need to be in a healthy place so we can care for our kids. I’m here for you if you want to talk. “Sometimes ya gotta open the window to let the stink out!” Personal fact about me and my wife was before we had our current 2 kids we were pregnant with twins that passed away (late term), from Trisomy 21. I believe that’s considered similar in nature to duplicate gene. If they would have been born I’d still consider myself a ASD parent as you do. We are all in the same boat (maybe just different compartments). I don’t defend Wakefield’s science because I’m not a scientist myself. But I lived in PA around several, they admitted (privately) that they couldn’t find anywhere (quoted), him saying vaccines caused autism. I was unsuccessful finding it myself. I agree about your science statement but Roundup has been proven to be harmful in court (a danger to anyone eating food), and in my sons case vaccines caused him documented damage (encephalopathy). But BEFORE the Roundup court cases, Monsanto’s science was “factual” until it was proven not. What if we are in the BEFORE timeframe for other findings? SOME kids are susceptible to damage, I factually have one.
