Hi all! I am in a situation where my daughter does not want to attend school. She will get off the school bus but does not want to enter the school. It' almost as if she's stuck. We have dealt with this all school year but at first it was just a few days out the week that she would do this and now it's been everyday so she hasn't attended school in weeks! Is anyone else experiencing this or does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Find out from the school if an incident happened in the entry way? Even if it was something minor
She normally has a good day at school. She’ll get aggressive sometimes but she is normally happy. I’m not sure if she is just being stubborn or lazy?
@A MyAutismTeam Member her teachers come out of the school to try to help prompt her in but she doesn’t budge. No changes at school. This started happening in December out of nowhere! She used to be willing to go some days out the week but since last month she hasn’t been wanting to go into the school at all.
I agree that it is anxiety about something at school.
