But she is gettimg too talk for the bath how can i transititon to showers for her

We have a shower head that comes off the wall and has a hose so we got a suction cup holder for it and put it on the wall where it is shorter then him so it wont his his head at all

Get the hose 😈 lol....have you tried getting in with him...that helped my daughter when we were trying the transition I brought her in with me a few times to relax her.

I had the exact same goal! How cool! First I would definitely do a tolerance ‘assessment’ is she compliant and successful in washing up. If not, make a note of which steps are a problem and is it the micro-task or the transition between. Next a social story. Then an app. We liked the app below. Her responses and success would tell you in your task analysis what to specifically work on reinforcing. I think it all depends on level of understanding. I haven’t read your story, if your little one’s needse there, my bad.

This is a legitimate goal however, I hope you much success.

@A MyAutismTeam Member Ok The other thought I had was is the water pressure coming from the showerhead. Maybe she doesnt like the pressure—you can get a showerhead that has different settings so you can try different sensations and pressures, maybe one of the lighter settings would be less alerting for her?
