Hi, I Applied To Be Paid Caregiver For My Daughter Case Worker Said I Need To Be Approved For Home Health Aid Hrs First Before I Can
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

apply as a paid caregiver for my child I was denied for home health aid hours because it says that I need to be working and have a job.I told them I can’t work due to level of care my child needs and I still get denied. Is there any exemption reason I can use for not being able to work other than the level of care my daughter needs to be approve?

I had a note from her pediatrician but I just find out last week that they don’t have my daughter’s diagnosis that’s why probably she didn’t put the right information cause it also said in denial paper that home health aid was not medically needed. Currently, looking for new PCP and hopefully a neuro-developmental pediatrician to 😞

Do you need doctor note? Would it not help? Try?
