How To Manage ABA With A 3 Year Old And 2 Year Old ?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello, all. I am seeking any tips, advice, suggestions, anything on how to manage ABA therapy with my three year old diagnosed with autism while also having another little one. I am nervous/worried about my two year old feeling neglected and want to make sure I’m fulfilling the needs of both.

I think those of us who have two or more children have been through this, I remember feeling like I wouldn’t be able to give equally to my boys when my younger child was diagnosed. If the ABA hours are just too much, start out slow, you don’t have to do exactly what the ABA provider recommended. Most ABA providers can come to your home to provide services. I suggest asking them to come to you so you are able to be there for both kids.
