Has Anyone Else Had Their Child Genetic Tested And Found A Segment Of Chromosome 15 Missing?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son was tested and they found a segment missing from his Chromosome 15. We go next week to talk about it, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this experience as well.

@A MyAutismTeam Member and @kassidy24 - to the extent it is helpful, I posted a blog on the genetic tests available for autism - based on a panel I heard at Stanford a few months ago. You can check it out here: http://blog.myautismteam.com/2012/07/25/is-it-w...

I am new to the site, but my son was recently found to have a q15 deletion. He also had a VSD which he had repaired via open-heart surgery. He also has some physical characteristics that are common in these deletions. Let me know if you are still on here!

I am currently going through the same thing. I see that you posted this awhile back. Interested to know how your appointment went and if you got any answers.
