it may depend on where you live. we have worability programs here or easter seals. School districts are also responsible if your child is still in school. It falls under transition planning,vocational education. It (the planning) can start at age 14 and is required under federal education law. These include the Department of Rehabilitation the Regional center system, College Enabler programs and other private agencies. My son is 15 and had his first interview with his school to find his interests. This is not a time to take a passive role in the planning process. Your school dist. ultimately remains responsible for making sure these services are provided.

Best Buy is verrrry spectrum friendly...so is Sam Ash. Best Buy actually has a warehouse in Ky that hires ONLY people on the spectrum. :)

not sure where you leave but under Americans with disabilies act it a bill that says they can not descremanate. based on age/race/sex/religion/disability.
