My is 17 and a Junior in High school. He has almost NO interests. I have just been told there is no hope for him to be able to handle college for at least two years. There is a Life skills program he can get into after High school IF they accept his application. Before he can even apply he needs to start a work study program. Where do I even start?

When I think of all these gradeshcool years he's been forced to go to school (He HATES it), I will just be happy to have him free of it... ;-) Figured college was adding insult to injury LOL (For Mine)...

I am kind of going through what you are going through right now! My son who is 16 yrs old & a junior in high school wants to do make movies or videos. He has been going to a special needs school. We are going to enroll him into another school as a junior again so he can go to a 2 yr program at a Vocational school. He can get a certificate for web design. Have you thought about taking him to a trade/vocational school? I do not know if my son can actually handle college. I think he would get overwhelmed.
