How old? Would he prefer to drink smoothies or protein shakes? Could you make him milk shakes and add in fruit or peanut butter? A spoon full of peanut butter is really calorie dense... also, a friend of mine had a child that just stayed sick all the time and she would just cook everything he ate in butter... mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole (butter and cheese), unlimited ice cream. Doesn't sound too healthy, but it's short term.

My teen Son is happy with a fruit cup, and a galss of milk. He can't eat in the morning either. He says his stomach is queesy, and he has barfed, if he eats too much in the mornings. So, I've accepted that, and he makes up for it at lunch, snacks and dinner.

He drinks the ADHD vyvanese in med and that is it. He eats waffles sometimes or ice cream for breakfast. No drinks or smoothies or shakes or peanut butter. The food and colors and smells of food and texture are issues so limited and small portions and small size hunger all times. Healhty but size 5 and 43 pounds and age almost 8 grade 2. oy vey. Thanks. Sounds like my middle daughter! About that size in 2nd grade. She looked like she wandered in from the pre K!She wasn't medicated for ADHD but it was considered. Once she was out of her shyness/anxiety enough to play sports, she actually improved, although there's not much demand for a 4 foot 6 in 70 pound 11 yr old 6th grade point guard. She actually eats like a horse... I honestly have been embarrassed going out with friends and their kids eat off the kids menu and my little munchkin 1/2 their size throws down an adult platter. Whenever she gets sick she loses weight so fast, but it isn't because she doesn't eat!
