Our son is 17 months and we are choosing to incorporate both! Just looking for peoples experience in using both. Advantages and Disadvantages?

We are using ABA and Floortime. And he will still get his early intervention too! Floortime just made sense for us, b/c it seems it focuses more on building social interactions and trust and we wanted that!

I use ABA (I am getting my Masters in ABA). When I am finished I am going to take online floor time courses from ICDL. They are not expensive. That way in the near future I will be a BCBA, and Floortime provider. I am also intersted in getting certified in PBS. As a parent I have learned that you can never learn too much. Are you using FT?
