A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

So my husband is now more open to supplements and medications for his son. Any one have any ideas of any products to assist with speech and socialization and overall health. My step son is pretty healthy, but his socialization and speech could use a push to get us over the hump. We are also looking into classes, programs, activities. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I started out looking for the best company that sells 100% pure oils. I went with Doterra. I was very blessed and met a wonderful lady that guided me. I primarily use Peaceful Child Blend by Deborah Gardner. I am a huge researcher and most of the oils my daughter needed were in the blend. My daughter has gone from adhd meds 3x per day to one very small dose once a day. The blend also eliminated her sleeping meds. It truly has been a miracle. I put one drop on the bottom of each foot and 3 drops over her heart. I do this before school and before bedtime. We also do a number of other natural suppliments and oils. But that is the main one thst has made the difference. We also use a diffuser at night or during the day when she is having a rough day.

My whole idea was to help her. But ended up being a lifestyle change. I use oils first for almost everything. We love them and I believe that it has built a better bond between myself and my daughter. She loves her fet rubbed:)

This is just what we have been trough. We spent years trying to get my son to socialize with his peers at school and other kids. It only caused him more anxiety for the most part. Well he got 14 and there was many things the average 14 yr old got to do that my son could not. So I decided with parental supervisionI wuold buy him a zombie game called counter strike source. In game they socialize on mic and can type plus play the game. He also plays a game called "Our World" it is a social based game via the net. I seen him socialinzing and laughin and having a good time on our world, I was so happy. So I looked at his friends list and had to get his opinion. I said son you tlak to people on here, but face to face you wont talk to many people... why is that? He flat out told me because on here they don't judge me and make fun of me for being different, face to face they do. On here I can be myself and it's easier for me. I would also find a autism support group that involves the kids because I also found that with kids he can relate to and they relate to him things go much smoother for him and the other kids and they socialize better together because they can relate to each other.I hope this helps ya.

She has seizures also so oils were something I could use and use safely while we avoid certain ouls that people with epilepsy should avoid.
