I thought north jersey had so many programs, every time I do searches its in north jersey.. Have you tried ARC. Are you looking for a full day program. I went to a meeting not to long ago and DVS was starting a new program where they created a schedule for the person with disabilities and it would include things like volunteering, work, exercise. They even had people that came out to do the exercise program. Their goal was to not have them sit home but be productive to their ability.

I would love to know how to do that. I found around me they have programs for over 18 and under 13 but nothing in between. The most crucial time for our children .

I wanted to start an art studio for teenagers but didn't know where to start. How did you get paperwork. Have you thought o contacting your local mayor or council . They just might be willing to help or have some connections

I have to wait till he's 18 to try for ssi, when he was 4 I tried and because my second car was worth more than 2000 we didn't qualify. Now hat I life insurance for all my kids I definitely will not qualify. Thanks though.

My therapist and other parents in my sons class suggested getting my son on SSI Disability now in order to have it in place and show past and current history.
