Anyone Had Success With Biomedical Treatment?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I would like to try this for my son. I have no idea how to find a doctor. What do I look under? I am in the Milwaukee area if u have any recommendations.

Yes. There is a lot of early research pointing in the direction of certain forms of autism caused by physiological disorders. Many seem to derive from the gut which is responsible for 80% of your child's immune system. If your child has allergies, asthma, and/or GI issues it is even more likely biomed treatments will help.

Old School Momma here. I started biomedical nutition & therapies for my guy 16 years ago. Dr. William Shaw or Great Plains Lab was one of the very few back then to gain access from. He has a book Biomedical treatments for Autism. Also, search TACA, lots of BioMoms on that site too.

I would recommend reading "The Autism Book" by Dr. Bob Sears and "Healing the New Childhood Epidemics" by Dr. Kenneth Bock. Many, but not all, biomed doctors are part of Defeat Autism Now! If you can travel to Naperville, IL (Chicago suburb), Dr. Anju Usman is supposed to be an excellent DAN dr.
