I have a 17 year old who is high functioning. Perhaps Roserio, ibarnes and myself could communicate through this page? I would love to share my experiences with both of you.

Yes please send me any links on FB. I just need to find a way back on there without all the other social stuff. I'm not very computer savy. lol.

There are several great pages on Facebook that have to do with Autism and Aspergers. Several have blogs that they post to also. Huge community on Facebook that cares and helps!! If you would like me to link a few for you let me know! We all need the support and this site and Facebook have been my saving grace!!!

Since my son's ex-pediatrician told him that he was fat, he's had a complex and now he makes better choices. I did change doctors, because my son is thin and tall and doesn't need to loose weight. He is going to take a health class next year in 9th grade that will teach him what better food choices to make. He has been making smoothies with homemade yogurt and fruits, he has a smoothie blender and enjoys preparing this type of snack for himself, shows a little independence. My son is 14 years old and is also a highly functional Aspbegers child.
