My Son Is Getting His Wisdom Teeth Removed Next Month. I'm Worried About What I'll Feed Him Afterwards.

He's getting the work done in the hospital because he needs to be put out. I'm not worried about that because we've had dental work done in the hospital before. But I don't know what I'm going to feed him afterwards. The only soft food that he'll eat is chocolate pudding and juice. Any ideas?

Apple sauce, jello his favorite color. Soups or broth at the beginning.

My non verbal son just had a wisdom tooth yanked in the hospital. He has not eaten a thing since and today is day 7. I've tried everything under the sun but he refuses to let anything NEAR his mouth. I wish I never had it done now. Dr says not to worry about eating as long as he drinks. But seven days??!!!

Don't let him drink through a straw at all for at least a week. I would ask the Dr. about the length of time but I know it can cause dry sockets. I had them..awful!

@A MyAutismTeam Member - do you remember how many days it was before you could return to normal food?
