I'm looking to find a communication app for my non-verbal son (12). He doesn't like his ipad (I think it is too big), so Proloque2go is out. We are looking to get a small tablet/touch that is android. Any ideas on a good app or even a good small tablet. Any help, please.

Dynavox ....... Or nova chat. Insurance may cover it also.

Talk tablet is coming to android soon. Alexicom is free but has a subscription if you want to dl their pages. It does come with pre loaded pages and you can save the pages you create and share with computers and ipads.

Also try Premtke Romich devices. Find out which company your insurance covers and see if the teachers or speech path will write a prescription. In my area, Dynavox will come to you and do an eval.
