I have used the book All Cats Have Asperger's...
Not a classic,.. but, very well done!
The books we got for my son were
All dogs have ADHD and All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome.
They are great books to try to explain something to a young person.
My son's fav is Where the Wild Things Are - and he references it when he's angry ie. he'll say "Let the wild rumpus begin"
The Ugly Duckling.... The baby swan was picked on for being different...but grew up to be more beautiful than those that picked on him. :)
Not that beauty is skin deep...but you can work with it. :) Or the Rainbow fish... He was different...and gave his rainbow scales to the other fish, so they could be special like him.
