I am looking for elementary school that accepts special needs (mild ASD) in Rochester, MN?

When I researched and talked to the Rochester school they stated all schools were equipped to take autism children. It depends on where you live. That is the school you get placed in. We decided to go to one of the neighboring smaller towns close to rochester and enroll there. We elected to live in the small town too. I would recommend touring the schools and asking as many questions as you can. I would also bring your current IEP if you have one to see if that school is willing to accomadate you. Good luck. We love this area and all the resources we have found here.

Talk with the school district's special education department. They might answer your questions.
