Has Anyone Tried And If So Had Any Success With Using Neurofeedback Or Biofeedback Training To Treat Autism?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have read about some early studies that show promising results by using neurofeedback to treat autism and avoid use of medications. I would value any insight into experience with this approach, study results, and reputable companies/individuals that perform this service.

Ive heard really good things about neurofeedback, my son will actually be starting this in March which is soon. I can give some info about how everything goes and any info once we go a few times... We are actually getting this through insurance as long as he takes a therapy session to talk to someone "which would be me bc my son age 6 does not speak anymore". So most places will take insurance so you dont have to pay out of pocket... My son was on a few different meds due to the school bc they could not handle him.. YES ive been through alot with the school system! its crazy but as long as us parents can stick together we can give each other info that we need to help our little ones.

Just saw this post. It is quite old, so I am wondering if you pursued it. We just had a QEEG done, and will start treatments for my 21 year old son. I am looking for feedback to see if anyone has had success.
