My husband and I are looking to relocate and trying to gain personal info about any private/charter autism schools. We are not looking to send our son to a public school. He needs much more attention than he has gotten here in Illinois and we are now having to homeschool this year because of it.
NECC New England Center For Children, we moved from FL to MA for it, they are one of if not the best In the country. Plus the state is good for services
I would love to hear more from all of you; my son is in 8th grade and I am currently working with another mom on the possibility of developing a special school. We have a special ed teacher and a speech pathologist who wants to get involved. I want to specifically focus on the middle/high school level who seem to get very little services in their age group. But I don't know where to start. I have heard NJ, MA and CO have very good ASD schools. We are in Iowa.
The Joshua School in Boulder and Denver has a very high reputation
