I would strongly recommend you read "The Autism Book" by Dr. Bob Sears and "Healing the New Childhood Epidemics" by Dr. Kenneth Bock as both of those two books have good discussions of the various supplements you can try for relieving symptoms. We have seen the biggest improvements from acetyl-L-carnitine, Coenzyme Q10, and Behavior Balance DMG (all of those are available over-the-counter inexpensively). She also responded positively to methyl B12 injections and Oxytocin nasal spray, but those require a prescription. She is also taking Klaire Labs VitaSpectrum multi and Coromega fish oil packets for general nutritional support. Digestive enzymes and probiotics didn't make a difference so we are not currently giving them.
