Does Anyone Else Find Stereotyping All Too Common Among The General Public?

I shared this on another similar post yesterday. When we started this journey I read a meme on pinterest or facebook that stuck with me. I don't remember the exact words, but the sentiment was this. Good parents are too busy worrying about their kids, and their own parenting to worry about mine. To everyone else who feels the need to judge or have issues with my own parenting or my son's ASD quirks, it is their problem not mine.

I am torn between the thought that it is none of their business and I shouldn't have to justify, and the need to increase awareness. When asked, I am candid and honest. When others get obnoxious, I may find myself reflecting a bit back at them.
