Our family is being transferred for work. Our son is 7 and primarily non verbal. He is on the spectrum. The schools I have tried to contact give little to no information until you live in district. I am having a hard time even finding where programs are.

I have also heard that Rockaway public schools are very good - I believe they are even listed on Autism Speaks list of public schools. Park Lake School in Rockaway is an awesome public school run by Morris County, but it's set-up in a private setting ... only special needs kids. Your school district would have to place your son as an our-of-district placement to attend Park Lake. I have also heard good things about Long Valley and Mount Olive. All the schools should have websites that will direct you to the child study team, so that you can get some information. Good Luck!
