We are thinking of moving to Florida but are wondering abt. the services there especially ABA therapy. How is the funding there for this treatment? is it thru private insurance or Medicaid? How many years can they receive this therapy?

The state does not pay for much, you would have to apply for the McKay Scholarship but it will not pay for everything and you are going to pay out of pocket for a good amount of it. The medical system is not good either and we had specialists tell us the state is 20 years behind the North so we left after spending thousands of our own money. the school system is not good either and the staff is not well trained, so I would stay away from FL. Northern states are far better for services and care.
