Has Anyone Had Luck With Intensive In Home Therapy With An Adolescent (they Were Assigned To Us Following A June Hospitalization)
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

We were assigned a team of Intensive In Home Therapists following my 16 year old son's last hospitalization in early June. I am finding this endeavor to be vastly unsuccessful, partly due to his non-cooperation, but also due to the 'red tape' that seems to override actual services. Has anyone had positive/negative experiences with IIHS before?

I'm not sure if it's defined as intensive, but the bulk of my daughter's ABA therapy hours are in-home sessions. Naomi has responded extremely well since her in-home 7 hours per week started last September or October. I should also mention that Naomi's ability to reach her set goals has been hindered somewhat because her cooperation in the presence of her therapist tends to be severely reduced when the therapist is not present.
