My son has started this and i dont know how to stop it!!

This is hard to stop, so what we did is put our daughter in outfits she could not reach down into, and then checked her frequently to see if her pants were clean.

This activity it mostly sensory driven so it is not easy to deal with. You just have to stay on top of things until the child does not do it anymore, there is no magic solution to this issue.

I would test for clostridia overgrowth and if present treat for that. See below on that as well as other suggestions.
