We had this problem with my daughter when she was younger. I think we had her practice it at home. I may have had to demonstrate it for her. I know that sounds awkward -maybe his dad could help. Good luck.

There is a little inset thing that you can put in the toilet bowl to catch the urine and then funnel it into a cup. We have to use that for my DD since she is not yet able to pee in a cup.

put a Cherio in his cup and refer to it as a target - just might work - it helped me training my grandson to aim (ha)

oh hell yeah, how could i forget that one, @A MyAutismTeam Member?? i couldn't do that 4 the boys...not that i didn't try, lol...but 4 ollie, that's what i did, too. =) worked. ΒΆ
