Once your child turns three they transition into the school system. You need to get in touch with the school district in your area and start the process before your child turns three. They are going to want to do an evaluation and an IEP most likely so again that takes time so you need to start now. Most school districts are not going to pay to send your child to an expensive place without a fight so you are going to have to push them and not take no for an answer however you are going to need evaluations to backup your position.
Dualspectrumdad is correcct. Put a letter to the school system requesting an evaluation. This starts their clock. Do this before March and your son won't miss a day of services.
We got far more services through early intervention then we do now. After four months of meeting and testing they found placement for my daughter. A lot of your services depend on where you live and the school district
